I have had the awesome opportunity to have served the Commonwealth of Kentucky and this Nation by wearing the military uniform for 24 years. I soldiered up to every challenge and took advantage of the great opportunities of military service. I realize military service is not for everyone, but I can say it truly was the right career path for me. I was fortunate to have served under great leaders and mentors who gave me the skills to be successful. I have served in many positions throughout my career from Private to Command Sergeant Major. There were many challenges throughout my career and I met each one with enthusiasm and a “can do attitude”.
