Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book our trolley, and how do we do it?
Usually bookings are made between 8 to 14 months in advance of your wedding date. However, call now to see if your special date is still available. Summer dates sell out faster.

Many couples decide on their wedding date based on trolley availability. Plan ahead to ensure your special wedding date.

A $200 (US dollars) date retainer fee paid by cash or check will secure your trolley date. The balance is not due until the day of the wedding in the form of a cashier's check. The $200 date retainer fee is subtracted from your total balance due.

What if we need additional package time on the trolley?
No problem. We only book one wedding or event per day, so we are 100% focused on your special day, therefore we can service your needs completely - before, during and after the ceremony. If you need more time, it can be purchased after the initial 3 hours, in 1/2-hour increments of $25 per 1/2 hour.

How long will we need the trolley for on our wedding day?
The average time a couple books the trolley for is usually between 4 and 6 hours in order to enjoy a stress free day without being rushed or late. The contract time usually covers the time from one hour prior to the ceremony/church up to the start of the reception cocktail hour or a half-hour after the start of the cocktail hour. We can pick up the Bridal party at a central location and take them to the church or other wedding site, then take the entire Wedding Party to a location of your choice for a photo shoot. Then we take you to the Reception. We are willing to customize your event on your special day.

Do the bride and groom usually arrive early to the reception hall?
No, actually a lot of the couples arrive up to one half-hour later in order to make a "grand entrance". Additionally, the reception hall will not open the room or bar early or until the contracted start time of the cocktail hour. This usually means that the bridal party will be waiting in the lobby or going off to a local bar until the reception hall is ready.

How many people does the trolley hold?
Legally, we can transport 17 - 200 lbs. adults comfortably, with plenty of room for the bride's dress. We allow a few more to stand if the travel distance is short.

Does the video and photographer usually ride on the trolley?
Usually not since after the ceremony the bridal party will travel to a serene location for pictures, and afterwards, the video/photographer will need to go to the reception hall to set up their equipment for the receiving line and portraits, prior to the arrival of the wedding party.

Is there any commercial advertising inside or outside of the trolley?
NO! The only sign on our trolleys is a "Just Married" sign for you.

Are there seat belts on the trolley?
No. Like many other forms of public transportation (school buses, buses, trains, etc.), seat belts are not required in the State of Kentucky.

Can we bring alcohol onto the trolley?
Absolutely! You are welcome to bring a cooler filled with alcohol. We provide fresh ice and bottled water for you and your guests.

Can we bring food onto the trolley?
Yes. We highly recommend it. It is unlikely that the bridal party has eaten anything but donuts and coffee for breakfast and they will be in the ceremony at lunchtime. We suggest pre-ordering and arranging with a friend or relative to pick up individually wrapped sub sandwiches, cut into 3 or 4 inch pieces, from a local restaurant or store near the ceremony/church. The friend or relative can drop the food off with the trolley driver during the ceremony or immediately afterwards while the bridal party is inside taking pictures. This will eliminate the bridal party's need to stop at a fast food restaurant, which will waste anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes of time on the trolley.

What is a location fee?
A location fee is a one time fixed dollar cost to absorb fuel charges and travel time to and from your location. Therefore you receive the full contract service time you pay for. Our service clock doesn't start until we arrive at the initial location to service you. There is no fee for Barren County.

What is the professional trolley silk floral Package: Soon after we started the company we learned how much stress and cost it was for a bride and bridesmaids to decorate the trolley the night before the wedding or during/after the ceremony. The floral package will eliminate not only the stress, but also the cost, which may add up to $200 or more if materials are purchased at a local party store. In order to help, we provide silk flowers which are truly beautiful and give the trolley another dimension of wedding elegance without taking away from the bride being the center of attention. Of Course you can add your own special touches if you choose to do so.

Do you have an all white wedding trolley?
No. On purpose, we have black and white Trolley so that the bride will stand out and be the center of attention in her beautiful dress. The trolley stands out elegantly and independently while providing a beautiful backdrop for pictures that do not take away from the bridal party.

We heard from other brides and wedding planners, if asked "some trolley companies may negotiate their prices for wedding trolley services". Does your company negotiate?
No. We publicly advertise our prices for all to see and benefit from. We truly believe we are the very best wedding trolley service in the industry.

What happens if it rains on the date of my wedding?
Our trolleys are fully enclosed with clear glass windows. Additionally, the conductor has an oversized umbrella he uses to escort each guest out of the trolley to their destination.

Does the trolley service winter weddings?
Yes, the trolley has a heater.

Can the trolley travel on highways and expressways?
Yes it can. However, the trolley travels at a slower speed so we like to allow a little more time than if you were driving your car.

Are the Friday and Sunday wedding packages comparable to Saturday packages?
Absolutely 100%! We use the same trolley and conductors, and provide the same excellent customer service 7 days a week.
